A Social Innovation Initiative

ABOUT US

Jaivik Gurugram is a social innovation initiative undertaken by Mr. Yatendra Nath Jha and Mrs. Ashu Jha to develop a culture of organic farming in Gurugram, Haryana, India.

Together, this passionate couple has embarked on a journey of working with local farmers and teaching them the process of relearning the core values and practices of agriculture that they have been following. Through Jaivik Gurugram, they have built a community where they teach and practice organic farming with the farmers of Gurugram.

Currently, we are running 6 of the 'Ambitious 20 Social Racks' in Gurugram where we distribute vegetables among the underprivileged every Sunday. Since June 2021, we have set up Social Racks in Nirvana Country (Sector 49), Suncity (Sector 46), South City II (D Block), Tigra Village and South City I. We will expand the Social Racks initiative to Delhi NCR soon.

Mission: To convert all farmlands in Gurugram to organic farming and eventually expand this practice to other parts of the country.
